With the start of a new month, Niantic has released the complete event calendar forPokemon GO, and it seems like the developers have some exciting plans for the next few weeks. From the regular Community Days and Spotlight Hour to some other exciting events, there is plenty to look forward to.
The season of Timeless Travels turned out to be quite an eventful one for fans, with a series of exciting events taking place in the game. Players witnessed a range of new Pokemon from the Paldea region arriving in the game, such as the likes of Varoom, alongside some new forms as well, such as Hisuian Typhlosion and Samurott. Now, it’s time for an all-new season with the release ofWorld of Wonders, and here are the events taking place in April 2024.

Pokemon GO April 2024 - New Events
For April, thePokemon GOevents will kick off with anApril Fool’s Day event, giving players a really amazing opportunity to get an Excellent Throw out of every Nice Throw.TheCommunity Dayfor this month will be featuring Bagon. Perhaps the most notable aspect of the month is theMega Heracross raid day, which a lot of players will be looking forward to.

Pokemon GO April 2024 Spotlight Hour Schedule
The Spotlight Hours will be held every Tuesday between 6 pm and 7 pm local time, and players will get a much better chance to catch the featured Pokemon with the increased spawn rate.
April 16th will be featuring a special Spotlight Hour with four featured Pokemon!

Pokemon GO April 2024 Raid Schedule
As far as 5-star raids are concerned, players will find several familiar Pokemon in this month’s lineup, with the likes of Kartana and Celesteela making a return.
Registeel
April 25 – May 2
For the Mega Raids, players get a total of three Pokemon this month, as usual. For this month, all of the Pokemon can be shiny.
Mega Aggron
April 25 - May 2
Additionally, Shadow Entei will be appearing on weekends aspart of Shadow Raids, so it is a good time to catch the Fire-type legendary for players who don’t have it already.
