Tier shoulders are an option but the 1st choice has better stats overall if you aren’t to break the 2 piece set bonus.

All 3 of the top options are going to be pretty similar in value depending on your stat requirements, with the first option being the one with the best stats overall.

Expertise is largely going to be a wasted stat in this slot so hopefully, you can get your hands on something other than tier.

The rings are a little lack luster when it comes to upgrades from Phase 1. The Rings from either the 10 or 25m quests to defeat Algalon are going to be BiS for many specs.

Time to upgrade from the Darkmoon Card: Greatness! The Comet’s Tail is the absolute best option but again will be contested by many other specs along with Dark Matter.

When it comes to weapons look for a fast main hand and anything in the off-hand. Basically follow the priority below, with higher-ranked weapons in the main hand and lower-ranked in the off-hand.

It would be wise to pass the BiS bow to hunters as the second option is arguably just as good.

These are the gems that players will want to focus on getting for Assassination Rogue:

Meta Gem Socket

The Agi and Crit Gem remain the same throughout this phase

Red Socket

Players with Jewelcrafting should replace 3 red gems with the Dragon’s eye, and also include a Stormjewel from the Fishing daily (or Auction House). There is some debate whether rogues should socket for raw Attack Power or Agility, but Agility provides crit and dodge as well as 2x AP, making it slightly superior to simply Attack Power.

Blue Socket

For the activation of the Meta Gem use a prismatic gem, ideally in a blue socket, especially if it means achieving an agility socket bonus.

Yellow Socket

Depending on your Hit or Expertise needs, use an orange gem to activateAgilitysocket bonuses or theMeta gem activation.

Best Enchants For Assassination Rogue In Phase 2 - Ulduar

The list below shows what enchants players will want to use for their Assassination Rogue. These will likely be the same from Phase 1. Enchants can be found via Reputation, or from the professions: Enchanting, Leatherworking, and Blacksmithing and can often be found on the Auction House.
