Unlike other FPS, players can choose from a wide variety of heroes, all of which have their own unique skills. As for players that enjoy using Ao Bai, the dual-wielding dog, they’ll want to look at the best build for him since he is a tricky hero to use.
Ao Bai’s Main Role
Ao Bai is a natural tank hero since he has the highest base HP inGunfire Reborn. This hero also excels with Explosive-type weapons or gadgets since some of his skills boost their overall damage.
But, despite being a tank, Ao Bai has one of the strongest abilities in the game since it allows him todual-wield almost any weaponexcept for melee-type weapons, bows, and talismans. This Ao Bai build focuses entirely on dual-wielding automatic weapons, but players could switch it with shotguns.
Ao Bai Dual-Wielding Automatic Weapons Build
The main focus of this build is to ensure a high uptime of Ao Bai’s dual-wield ability while investing in lucky shot multipliers. That means players will also want to focus almost all their ability points on increasing Ao Bai’s survivability while using his ultimate skill.
Weapons to Use:
Players should try to use weapons that work well together in terms of elemental effects and ammo type. Using weapons that shoot a different fire rate is a no-go since they’ll hinder Ao Bai’s overall damage. Even thoughsome Talents increase overall magazine size, gamers should still avoid using weapons of the same type since they’ll run out of ammo very quickly.
To further increase the damage Ao Bai’s ultimate does, players should use Elemental effects that pair well together since it grants combo statuses like manipulation. Aura of Venom (Pistol) and Lightning Blast (Rifle) are two weapons that pair nicely together. Alternatively, Fire Dragon (Injector) and Thunderclap Gloves (Injector) cause Manipulation, which causes the enemy to attack other nearby enemies.
Ascensions to Use:
Battle Tested: The duration of dual-wield is increased. This is the bread and butter of the build, especially once players max it out since it’ll grant two extra seconds every 20 ammo that they use.
Lucky Ammo: As mentioned before, players want to increase their lucky shot chance as much as possible. With this Ascension skill, players can save on ammo since it causes Ao Bai to not use ammo for every lucky shot.
Sharpshooter: Players should only put one point into this Ascension skill since it reduces reload speed by 1 second.
Ammo Expert: Players with issues keeping their magazines full will want to invest a little in this skill since it provides the player ammo when they dual-wielding.
Sustained Fire: Increase overall damage for every chained kill. This will make Ao Bai hit a lot harder.
Adrenal Rush: Reduces damage taken for every chain kill.
Golden Comeback: Another damage-reducing skill that will increase Ao Bai’s survivability.
Survival Instinct- Increases the maximum HP and Shields while dual-wielding.
Twin Gunner: Players should only use this Ascension skill if they don’t have ammo problems since it increases ammo consumption in favor of double damage while dual-wielding. But, if players are confident they can keep up with the lack of ammo, they can invest in this skill, as it’ll make Ao Bai even stronger.
Talents to Use:
As for Talents, players should focus on getting “Dual Battle Soul” since it allows Ao Bai to recover 2% HP for every second that he dual-wields. Furthermore, “Advanced Dual-Wielding” increases dual-wield damage by 50%. And if a player is having issues with their ammo, then they should get “Enduring Gunner” since it increases ammo capacity by 15%, if not they can get “Extra Reserves"to increase their survivability.

Gameplay Tips
In order to effectively use this build, players will want to always be in the heat of a firefight. That means players should always be looking to kill enemies since that’s the only way they can keep Ao Bai’s ultimate going. But, of course, the biggest drawback with this build is the ammo consumption. So, players will need to pick up every ammo they see and destroy any pots since they usually drop ammo (or get Talents that increase ammo capacity).
Additionally, players can try to find items (some Occult Scrolls can help with ammo) that buff magazine size since it’ll help mitigate the ammo consumption. Ranged enemies like Longbowman and Bandit Tactician can easily disrupt this build, so players should always focus on eliminating these enemies as fast as possible. In Multiplayer players should let their teammates know what sort of build they are using since most players expect Ao Bai to be the tank of the party. But, for the most part, Ao Bai will always be the tankiest hero, no matter which build a player uses for him.
