Call of Duty’s official YouTube account posted a short, 50-second teaser that flies through the new Checkpoint and Grime maps.Warzonefans will likely recognize Checkpoint, since it is based on Rebirth Island’s Stronghold POI and seems to be mostly identical to itsWarzoneiteration other than blocking off certain areas. Grime, however, is a brand-new map that takes place at an abandoned, graffiti-filled dock in London and features a slightly darker and rainier aesthetic than sunny Checkpoint. Developers have described both maps as medium-sized, and the teaser showcases a variety of buildings and outdoor spaces where plenty of gunfights will likely take place. Also, Grime seems to include trains that speed by the map intermittently, although they don’t appear to affect gameplay besides creating a loud sound.
