Thanks to a short clip captured by the content creator, ModernWarzone brought attention to the fact that players cannot put on their gas masks while reloading a weapon which can cause players to die from gas damage. With players being unable to cancel a reload, it can cause an unavoidable death in a match.
IceManIsaac suggested in a tweet that the gas mask should just be able to tick away without interfering with any animations. The tweet by IceManIsaac also insinuated that keeping the gas mask in this state makes thegameplay inWarzone 2unbalanced. Several players replied to the tweets with their own complaints and stories about how the gas mask mechanics have gotten in the way of their gameplay.
As of right now, there seem to be no plans for a solution to be implemented in the game, leavingWarzone 2playersto just hope that their complaints will eventually be heard. Issues like this can become so frustrating that they can sometimes cause fans to stop playing a game entirely. Although the gas mask issue seems to plague some players, it will hopefully be addressed in the future.
