While fans have expressed frustration over some ofCall of Duty: Warzone’sdesign decisions, the battle royale game has remained immensely popular, withWarzonehitting 60 million playersin the few short months since launch. The game has had its ups and downs, but a new glitch seems to suggest something big may be headed its way.

Players are beginning to report miniguns dropping inWarzone, though they’re glitched and can’t be used. Instead, the weapon just floats there, fully modeled. Those familiar withModern Warfare’smultiplayer will recognize the minigun as theJuggernaut killstreak’sweapon, which allows players to rip through others on the map. Some believe Juggernauts may be headed toWarzonebecause of the weapon.

It’s unlikely that the Juggernaut would be featured as a standard killstreak inWarzone,as it would be a bit overpowered and doesn’t really fit withWarzone’sgameplay style. However, some believe that Juggernauts will get their ownWarzoneplaylist, allowing all players to fight over the armor and a machine gun, helping them survive to the end of the round. This has been supported by prominentCall of Dutyleaker ModernWarzone, who claims that a Juggernaut mode has been in the game’s files for some time.

A Juggernaut mode would certainly be a twist, changing up theWarzoneformula players are familiar with. With the possibility of changes coming toWarzone’smap next season, it makes sense that Infinity Ward would want to dry something new with the game, even if that means spicing it up with a unique mode.

Playlist rotations aren’t new toCall of Duty: Warzone, either, sometimes to the chagrin of players, in the case ofWarzone’strios mode. That said, it’s also possible that the Minigun will simply be added as a legendary weapon, forgoing the suit and keeping the other aspects ofWarzonein place. Right now, a dedicated Juggernaut mode is just speculation, and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Juggernaut is one ofModern Warfare’smore interesting killstreaks. It didn’t stir up as much controversy asModern Warfare’swhite phosphorous, though that isn’t a bad thing. If the Juggernaut mode is real, players can likely expect it sometime during Season 4, but it’s still too early to tell.
