Xbox confirms that theCyberpunk 2077Xbox One X bundle will be the last limited edition Xbox One X. It officiallyrevealed theCyberpunk 2077Xbox One Xlast week after fans were able to figure out what the teasers were teasing several days before the big announcement.
In a post on the Xbox Wire, editor in chief Will Tuttle confirmed that “this will be the final Xbox One X limited edition console to ever be released.” Only 45,000 units of theCyberpunk 2077Xbox One X console will be produced, said Tuttle, and the bundle will only be available in “select markets.” The post doesn’t confirm where these markets will be, but it’s likely that fans outside of the Xbox One’s top-selling regions will have a difficult time trying to find it.

While theCyberpunk 2077Xbox One X may be difficult to get, other officialCyberpunk 2077Xbox accessories may be more available. ACyberpunk 2077Xbox One controllerwill also be going on sale and will also be available outside of the bundle. There will also be the limited edition Xbox Pro Charging Stand which available now for $49.99 in the United States and Canada and 2TB and 5TBCyberpunk 2077Game Drives are available for pre-order before launching in June 2020.
The news that this will be the final limited edition Xbox One X will not be very surprising for Xbox fans. Analysts expectCyberpunk 2077to sell millions when it’s released later this year, making it one of the last, big Xbox One games before theXbox Series X is released. This could be a good way to say goodbye to the console generation.
This also means that the Xbox production line will be able to completely work on the Xbox Series X. Xbox boss Phil Spencer has confirmed that there areno plans to delay the Xbox Series X because of COVID-19but the team may want to be cautious with how it allocates its resources. Putting those resources into making more limited edition units of a console generation that’s ending probably isn’t the best idea.
However, this is going to make theCyberpunk 2077Xbox One X so much harder to get. The sale of things such as theexpensiveCyberpunk 2077backpackconfirms that fans of the series really enjoy merch and will pay huge amounts of money for it. The new Xbox One X design will be popular because ofCyberpunk 2077and because it’s the last limited edition and so it is expected to sell out much quicker.
