10Xenomorph (Alien)

The Xenomorph from theAlienfranchise remains a terrifying horror movie icon. For a quick background,Xenomorphsare alien lifeforms bent on reproducing themselves by “infesting” on other living organisms. Each Xenomorph - from the Queen down to the typical Xenomorph - can infest any host with chestburster embryos, which eventually kills their host upon birth.

InDead by Daylight, Xenomorphs can prove extremely deadly to Survivors. Xenomorphs, by nature, are extremely fast and agile. Moreover, their claws are extremely sharp and their blood is extremely corrosive. Unique Xenomorph Perks may include the ability to make quicker turns to catch Survivors. Moreover, they may even be able to “insert” a chestburster into a Survivor, only to deal slight damage and expose their location once it explodes.

9Monsters (A Quiet Place)

Aside fromsupernatural creatures,Dead by Daylightmay want another monster in their Killers roster. Coming fromA Quiet Place, the Monsters (or Dark Angels/Death Angels, as described by clippings in the film) can bring their near-indestructible skin and hypersensitive hearing to the fray. In the film, these Monsters wiped out most of mankind during their invasion, and they won’t hesitate to kill given the chance.

With their nature as sightless creatures,Dead by Daylightmay create a bit of tension with Monsters. For instance, players using the Monsters may have almost nothing to see, except things that make sound (e.g., Survivors) become extremely visible to them. Perks may include their extra-strong skin or even enhanced tracking.

Once a human, Pinhead ofHellraiserand his Cenobite comrades travel to Earth in their quest to harvest souls. Unfortunate humans summon Pinhead and the Cenobites through the Lament Configuration, a puzzle box with mysterious origins. Regardless of the nature of his appearances, Pinhead indulges in sadomasochism, believing that only true pain can bring true joy.

InDead by Daylight, Pinhead can be a terrifyingly calm Killer to face. Due to his extradimensional nature, he will likely possess otherworldly Perks he can use against Survivors. Perhaps the game could feature the Lament Configuration which, when picked up, may grant buffs to Survivors. Unfortunately, this also triggers one of Pinhead’s Perks that gives him the location of the Survivor holding it.

5Mister Babadook (The Babadook)

InThe Babadook, Amelia and her son Sam start to experience hauntings from a mysterious entity Sam names “the Babadook.” This being, a pale-faced with taloned fingers wearing a top hat, apparently starts tormenting people who start to become aware of its existence. And while Amelia eventually defeats Mister Babadook at the end of the film, the fact that no one can get rid of the Babadookmakes it terrifying.

InDead by Daylight, the Babadook can be one of its most unique Killers as it’s more of an “idea” than a monster or a killer. As such, its unique Perks may emphasize this idea. Perhaps Babadook can be extremely slow but environmental “traps” won’t affect it.
