Bungie has revealed what the newest rewards will be for the Prime Gaming system, introducing new cosmetics and an emote for players to collect as a part of the service. This appears to be the first of several rewards that will be made available duringDestiny 2’scurrent Season of the Lostas well as future items to claim in future seasons.

To start off this most recent list of Prime Gaming rewards, players can get a new emote called Cup of Tea, along with an exotic sparrow, exotic ghost, and legendary ship. The exotic sparrow, called The Graceful Crane, and exotic ghost, the Intrepid Shell, offer some impressive new looks for players to take into the general play areas as they roam around the game’s various open maps. However, the only legendary item in the bunch might have the most unique design as it changes theplayer’s ship inDestiny 2into what almost appears to be a giant shank-type enemy from the Fallen enemy faction.
As has often been the case forDestiny 2’s Prime Rewards, these cosmetics are all striking in their own way, with the emote, Cup of Tea, likely being one of the biggest draws to players so they can show off the new style in the tower or during Crucible and Gambit matches. This is at least usually the case with cosmetic packs that include either new shells or shaders alongside emotes, where the new actions tend to stand out as the primary concern for players. Considering that Cup of Tea is one ofDestiny 2’s many neon emotes with the added visual light show, players can likely expect to see it popping up in public spaces for a while.
In the case of many cosmetic upgrades currently available, players have now grown accustomed to much of this additional content being linked toDestiny 2’s microtransaction systemand in some cases the RNG that comes with it. So, including these types of rewards through the Prime Gaming system as having a concrete way of obtaining rewards can often be a positive for players looking for specific cosmetics. On the plus side, the Prime subscription also carries perks across several platforms outside ofDestiny 2, so there’s a good chance a lot of players will already meet the requirements to pick up the new gear.
Destiny 2is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
