Any recipe has its own rarity inDisney Dreamlight Valleythat reveals how many ingredients it requires.Sweet Herring, for example, is a 2-Star dish, meaning it needs two ingredients. Upon cooking the dish, Dreamers can eat it, sell it, or give it to other characters as a gift.

However, thanks to a certain character who likes to venture beyond where the skyline meets the sea, there’s another way to catch Fish. After unlocking the Moana Realm and inviting her to the Village, players can hang out with her until she reaches Friendship level two. This will trigger a Quest where Moana asks you to collect a few items to fix the broken boat, so she can sail and bring back some Fish. Before doing all of that, verify you have numerous Dreamlights to open the necessary Biomes.
How To Make Sweet Herring In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To make Sweet Herring, it’s vital that playerscollect the necessary ingredients inDisney Dreamlight Valley. Luckily, itonlyrequires two simple ingredients:HerringandOnion. The former is a type of fish that can be easily caught using the Fishing Rod, while the latter is one of the many vegetables found inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
Herring
Herring is a fish caught in either Dazzle Beach or Glade of Trust. Players can cast the Fishing Rod at any white ripples to catch the Herring. But keep in mind that Herring isn’t the only low-quality fish in these Biomes. This means that it’s possible to obtain another low-rarity fish like Cod or Tuna while fishing. Dreamers must keep fishing until a Herring appears.
As for the amount of Dreamlight required to unlock the necessary Biomes, Dazzle Beach costs 1,000 Dreamlight, while Glade of Trust needs 5,000 Dreamlight. Fortunately, it appears that fishing at Dazzle Beach rewards more Herring than fishing at the Glade of Trust.
If Dreamers aren’t having any luck fishing at Dazzle Beach and don’t have enough Dreamlight to open Glade of Trust, they can always check Moana’s boat at the beach for any caught Herring.
Onion
Onions areconsidered vegetables inDisney Dreamlight Valleythat can be found atGoofy’s Stall in Forest of Valor. The requested Biome can be unlocked quite early in the game since it costs 3,000 Dreamlight.
While shopping at the stall, Dreamers can either buy Onion as an ingredient ready to cook for 255 Star Coins or buya bag of Onion Seeds for 50 Star Coins inDisney Dreamlight Valley. If players aren’t in a rush, they can buy the seeds and plant the Onion, and it should be ready for harvest after one hour and 15 minutes.
Once all necessary ingredients are gathered, throw them all in a pot using any stove and consume one Coal Ore to complete the Sweet Herring. The 2-Star recipe offers 723 Energy, and it can be sold for 305 Star Coins at any Goofy’s Stall.
How To Get Dreamlights To Unlock Biomes In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Luckily for players, Dreamlight isn’t that difficult to obtain, but it is rather time-consuming. By opening the Main Menu and going to theDreamlight Tab, you will discover various categories, each containing a number of tasks that reward Dreamlight. The Dreamlight reward varies from one task to another as it depends on the difficulty of the task. Players might receive 50 Dreamlights from a task and complete a harder one to get 500 Dreamlights.
