InFar Cry 6, players have the option of liberating bases through brute force or by going stealth. Certain amigos such as hard-to-kill Guapo or the adorable Chorizo are useful in some areas, but not-so-good in others. This is where the stealth-based amigo, Oluso, comes into play.

Despite her debut beingFar Cry 6,Oluso is not the first feline animal companion in theFar Cryfranchise. However, she may be the first to have the longest questline to complete her recruitment. Oluso’s quests are divided into two parts, but they will have the player all over Yara on a fetch-quest.

Triada Blessings: Part 1

The good news is that Oluso’s quests don’t have any prerequisite missions tied to the Campaign beyond the prologue, “The Guerrilla,” meaning players are free to start “Triada Blessings” whenever they want. On the downside, the relics required for the quest are found in three of Yara’s regions.Unlike rooster-amigo Chicharron, who is also tied to a three-sidequest requirement, players will be doing a lot of Fast Traveling just to get from one objective to another.

To start “Triada Blessings," head to Quito on Isla Santuario. Near Gran Guerrero Mogotes is Oluwa Cave, which is where the quest-starter is. Read a note lying on the floor that’s titled “The Triada." This will talk about the “Oluwas," and that Oluso the Guardian will test the person who gathers their relics. With this complete, it’s time to start relic hunting.

Triada Relics

The Triada Relics may be scattered around Yara, but they’realso part of Treasure Hunts. As long as the player triggers the Treasure Hunt quest, then the relic’s location (purple-diamond shape) will appear on their map. Once they’re tracked, the game will place yellow markers inside the caves for the player to reach.

Players are searching for the following:

Ida’s Triada Relic

This relic is found inMadrugada’s Region,inLozania. It is a rank 5 “Treasure Hunt,” but it can be attempted regardless of the player’s level.

It’s easier to just follow the objective marker on the map, but for those that choose not to, the relic can be found to the south of Dos Monjas Mogote. Look for a cliff with Triada paintings and purple smoke. Inspect the note in the orange box on the post to begin the quest.

To reach the caves, players will need to use the grappling hook and vines to climb to their destination. When reaching a wall that has an arrow pointing down, use the grapple hook to descend.

Here’s the difficult part: There is a double zipline that Dani will have to latch onto. Jump onto the first zipline and detach it so Dani falls onto the second zipline. After this, detach from the first zipline to the second, and then onto the third.

Eventually, Dani will reach a zipline that’s blocked off by wood. Shoot this to progress. There will be another triple zipline followed by some ledges that Dani will need to climb.Follow the Jump prompts to have a better chance of not falling.

Repeat this until Dani reaches the final chamber. Ida’s Sigil will be waiting in purple smoke. Grab it along with any other treasure, and exit by using the zipline above Dani. Or, if players wish to skip any more grappling and ziplining, they can Fast Travel instead.

Don’t worry about getting lost or falling during this trial. There are arrows painted on the walls that are there to help guide the player.

Oku’s Triada Relic

This is found inCrus Del SalvadorinValle de Oro Region.Specifically, the relic is hidden somewhere in the haunted house. This is the only relic that can be accessedat night.

Enter the estate after reading the starting note. There’s a room to the right full of mirrors that will explode upon walking past them. Destroy the mirror that doesn’t break and interact with the switch behind it. The room across from the mirror room will now be opened.

In the new room, there are three switches. Trigger them in this order:Middle, Left, Right. When this is done correctly, a path upstairs will open.

In this room is a piano. Read the note on the music stand and then look out the window to see lightning hit a well. After this, there should be a new room behind the piano. Enter that room and get the dungeon key on the altar. Go downstairs and open the dungeon door.

There’s a room that’s blocked off by wooden boards, so destroy those. There are mannequins in this room with shotguns, but don’t worry: they’re fake. What’s really important is the button at the far left end of the room. Press this to open the well that the lightning struck.

Across from this button should be a path. Take this and use the grapple to get to the roof. Then, zipline down to the well and lower Dani into it. There’s armor and a charm, but if players want the real treasure, use the grappling hook above the well and swing over to the relic.

Mimo Abosi’s Relic

The final relic is atMcKay Global Drill Site DinLa Joyain theEl Esteregion. Like the previous Treasure Hunts, inspect the note in the orange box by the door to start the quest. Then, break the lock with the pistol or some other ammunition. Grab the key in the left room and go outside. Players can’t swim in the water (right room) until after the generator has been switched off. Luckily, the generator is near the entrance. Pull its plug (or blast it away) and head back in.

Swim through the tunnel and towards the fan room. After this, Dani will need to grapple down the shaft to reach the final room. Grab Mimo Abosi’s relic and any other treasures.

Triada Blessings: Part 2

With all three relics in hand, it’s time to return to Oluwa Cave.Place the relics on the groundwhere Dani found the note that started the “Triada Blessings” quest.

Go into the new part of the Oluwa Cave and open the chest to get the Triador Supremo and La Varita. Equip both of these for what will happen next.

The player will then be attacked by a spirit animal - a spirit jaguar, to be exact. When the spirit multiplies into more jaguars, they can be defeated with a single bullet. Use La Varita because its bullets will go through walls as long as Truesight is equipped. When the jaguar is finally Down, run up to it and Revive it. It turns out this spirit jaguar is actually Oluso, and she will join the team upon defeat.

Oluso’s Abilities

LikeFar Cry 5’sPeaches, Oluso is also a feline animal companion skilled in stealth. While she’s good at taking down enemies, it’s best to avoid having her fight them all at once. Her defense isn’t as strong as Guapo or Chicharron. However, she is more durable than her canine amigos: Chorizo and Boom Boom.

Something unique about Oluso is her ability to make dead bodies disappear. If Oluso is sent to attack someone and successfully kills them, then their body will vanish in a puff of smoke. This will save Dani from having to carry dead bodies and hide them in tall grass or bushes. Here are all of Oluso’s abilities:

Despite the amount of effort required for unlocking Oluso, her abilities make her worth the time. Having Oluso as an amigo will makeinfiltrating Military Targets and FND Basesmuch easier.

Far Cry 6is available now on Amazon Luna, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
