Coming up on the one-year anniversary of its launch,Fall Guyshas amassed an impressive amount of crossover events. The popular indie platformer previously joined forces with fellow indie titles likeShovel Knightand the similarly successfulAmong Usfor some cosmetic crossovers, along with some larger triple-A properties likeDoom,Half-Life, andNier: Automata.
Recently, that list grew even larger with the announcement of some PlayStation-inspired skins featuring the likes of Astro Bot, Sackboy, and the iconic duo known as Ratchet and Clank. Currently, it’s not clear if PlayStation’s rival Xbox will be getting a similar treatment whenFall Guyseventually hits the competing consoles, but it’s not hard to imagine a few suitable candidates for crossovers.

Halo
Simply put, there is noXbox withoutHalo. Microsoft’s flagship first-person shooter is arguably the face of the brand, and the faceless Master Chief is among the most recognizable characters in gaming.
A skin inspired byMaster Chiefwould make the most sense shouldFall Guyscross over withHalo, but the series also has loads of armor pieces and notable enemies like Elites, Brutes, and Grunts that would all make for solid cosmetics, too.
Gears of War
Another one of Xbox’s top franchises,Gears of Waris filled with plenty of familiar, recognizable imagery that could easily be adapted into cosmetics forFall Guys. Marcus Fenix’s signature bandana, the COG armor, or skins inspired by the fearsome Locust Horde would all be clean, family-friendly ways to represent this gruesome, violent franchise.
Viva Pinata
This fondly remembered Xbox 360 title probably won’t see a sequel anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be commemorated in some way, shape, or form.Viva Pinataboasts more than a handful of well-designed, cutesy pinatas that all match the wholesome aesthetic thatFall Guysradiates rather well.
Perfect Dark
A newPerfect Darkgame is coming, but no one quite knows when. The series protagonist, Joanna Dark, has sported a few different looks since her introduction inPerfect Darkon the Nintendo 64, and the character’s multiple outfits and hairstyles would likely work well as cosmetics inFall Guys.Additionally, such a crossover would serve the dual purpose of reminding people of who Joanna Dark is ahead of the newPerfect Darkgame.
Fallout
As a result of Xbox’s acquisition of Bethesda, notable series such asDoom,The Elder Scrolls, andFalloutare now considered exclusive franchises. With Xbox landing such huge names in gaming, it would make sense for the console manufacturer to want to flex its newly acquired muscles a little, and flauntingFallout-inspired content in theXbox version ofFall Guysmight be a good way to do so.
The series' trademark power armor would be a prime choice to feature in a hypotheticalFall Guys/Falloutcrossover event, butFall Guysis a very silly game. A more appropriate option might be to include a skin inspired byFallout’siconic Vault Boy, who always has an air of optimism despiteFallout’sincredibly dangerous, post-nuclear-war setting. The campy, over-the-top nature of the character is a perfect fit forFall Guys’hilarious, wacky premise, characters, and costumes.
Fall Guysis available now on PC and PS4. Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S versions are currently in development.
