AnOverwatch 2player shared a fun clip where their team is rescued by the enemy Lifeweaver. After much anticipation,Overwatch 2welcomed the game’s 37th hero this month. Lifeweaver has charm, looks, and abilities that are causing a stir among players of Blizzard’s shooter.
Overwatch 2Season 4 introduced thenew support Lifeweaver, a scientist from Thailand who created the biolight technology. Combining the beauty of nature and the practicality of nature, Lifeweaver has a dream of making the world a better place. The new hero has been one of the most talked about topics inOverwatch 2Season 4 because of his skills. Lifeweaver has abilities with great playmaking potential, and the result has been a variety of interesting situations for allies and enemies alike.

Reddit user LordGeore is another player who has seenhow Lifeweaver can ruin an ultimate. The user shared the clip of a match where they are playing Sigma and helping their team escort the payload. The opposing Lifeweaver uses the Petal Platform to suspend their team’s Reinhardt, and Rein starts attacking. Sigma also continues attacking and escorting the payload, and the improbable happens: Reinhardt starts his ultimate, the powerful Earthshatter, to hit the enemies. Lifewaver then removes the tank from the middle of the clash using Life Grip, making Reinhardt’s ult hit no opponents.
WhileLifeweaver can really save his allies, LordGeore’s clip received over 8,000 upvotes on theOverwatch 2subreddit, alongside nearly 1,000 comments about this hilarious and frustrating moment. One user commented that they would love to see Reinhardt’s reaction, which certainly must not have been friendly after being denied an ultimate by an ally. Another comment suggested that Life Grip be adjusted, sharing an idea that was approved by the other users. The Redditor suggests adding a “reaction time,” which would give the player pulled by Lifeweaver the chance to bail out the ability.
Lifeweaver has several interesting interactions inOverwatch 2, which makes the support a “god of mobility” for both saving allies and initiating plays. LordGeore’s clip, however, shows a moment of a Lifeweaver who tried to help Reinhardt and ended up getting in the way or was consciously trolling. AsOverwatch 2Season 4 progresses, the expectation is for players to become more familiar with Lifeweaver abilities. Players can only wait to see if Blizzard will also make any adjustments in Lifeweaver in order to reduce the possibility of “troll moves.”
Overwatch 2is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
