AGenshin Impactplayer has created a couple of interesting concepts that combine the playable units with characters fromHonkai Impact 3rd, HoYoverse’s second most popular title. Both games revolve around their playable characters since they are their main source of revenue due to the gacha-based system.
It’s no secret that the designs for a lot ofGenshin Impactcharacters are inspired by Honkai’s roster. A large number of characters like Raiden Shogun, Yae Miko, Venti, and many others, have their respective counterparts in the other game.

Reddit user CWHardKnight has created a set of different character concepts that combine the game’s playable rosters with their counterparts fromHonkai Impact 3rd. Fans seem to like the idea considering that the thread gathered over 8.5k upvotes onGenshin Impact’s official subreddit. According to the comment section, the new version of Yoimiya seems to be the fan-favorite. Her new design is inspired by Yae Sakura equipped with the Darkbolt Jonin battlesuit. Yoimiya is a popular Pyro-bow user whose strength lies in dealing damage to single targets. Fans can expect Yoimiya to receive a re-run in the upcoming updates considering that she was last featured in update 3.2. Her banner colleague at the time, Nahida, has already been officially scheduled to receive a re-run inGenshin Impactversion 3.6.
A lot of fans have pointed out that Raiden Shogun looks very similar to Honkai’s Raiden Mei. This popular character was introduced during the second Inazuma update in September 2021. Since then,Raiden Shogun has been dominating the in-gamemeta as well as the overall revenue charts. Her two greatest strengths are probably the ability to adapt to almost every team comp in the game and the fact that she’s a very free-to-play friendly character.
However, players who want to get Raiden’s DPS potential to the next level should try to acquire her second constellation level. The fan art also features one of the currently available characters,the Cryo user Kamisato Ayaka. Her new hairstyle is apparently based on Bronya Zaychik, a dangerous Russian assassin that plays a significant role in Honkai’s storyline.
Players who want to add Ayaka to their roster have less than a week to do so since her banner is scheduled to expire on March 11. She is considered the best elementalDPS character inGenshin Impact, especially if players manage to acquire her signature weapon, the five-star sword Mistsplitter Reforged.
