Summary
WhileGenshin Impactremains at the top of the gacha market, its players haven’t exactly been thrilled with the new Graph Adversarial Technology Experiment Log Event. The world of Teyvat is vast and filled with treasure, allowing travelers the opportunity to stock up on Primogems as they explore its many corners. However, the amount of Primogems that can be obtained throughworld exploration inGenshin Impactis finite, and so HoYoverse often implements a plethora of limited events in each Version to allow Free-to-Play players to consistently stock up on Wishes.
The upcomingVersion 4.3 forGenshin Impactis rumored to have banner reruns for Ayaka, Raiden, and Yoimiya – alongside the debut of new fan-favorite Navia – and it’s as good a reason as any for players to save up as many Primogems as they can. While exploring the new zone that was added to Fontaine in Version 4.2 is a decent source of Primogems, the Spiral Abyss, Paimon’s Shop, and Limited Events are always good for providing a steady stream of Wishes.
Unfortunately, the Graph Adversarial Technology Experiment Log Event is not only a mouthful, but also a handful for a decent number ofGenshin Impactplayers who have gotten used to the more relaxed Limited Events of past updates. A critique was submitted by NoSauteePlz on the mainGenshin Impactsubreddit, outlining the aspects of the new event that were annoying or frustrating to deal with. Most notably, whereas players could afford to hold off on completing Limited Events until their final day, the Graph Adversarial Technology Experiment Log has to be done consistently on a daily basis in order to obtain all the Primogems associated with the event.
Thoughco-op inGenshin Impactis a valid way to play, most fans prefer to complete their Limited Events solo. The Graph Adversarial Technology Experiment Log relies onGenshin Impactplayers exchanging “colors” obtained through taking pictures of whatever the daily puzzle seems to be, primarily in order to make up for missed days. It’s similar to a previousGenshin Impactphotography event that ran two years ago, albeit the Fontaine version encourages players to collaborate with their friends to more easily obtain its rewards.
While the event’s reward structure was criticized by the community, there was one aspect that received near-universal praise. The new photography event really tests a player’s knowledge ofwhere things are on theGenshin Impactmap, and the puzzles are flexible enough that any of the five playable regions of Teyvat offer quick solutions to the daily challenge. For players who may want to stock up on some extra pulls in anticipation of the presumed Navia and Ayaka banner, it’s still not too late to jump in and complete the new Limited Event.
