AGenshin Impactplayer has noticed an interesting detail all the recently released five-star characters have in common. Five-star characters are much more complex, and they have a much higher pity which guarantees a drop within 90 consecutive wishes. Most five-star units can be obtained by wishing on the game’s limited five-star banner which keeps changing every 2-3 weeks.
The ongoingGenshin ImpactLimited Character Banner features the new character Baizhu who arrived in the second banner cycle for update 3.6. The four-star lineup also includes a new four-star Dendro user named Kaveh who made multiple appearances in the previous Sumeru storyline.

A Reddit user named AmethystMoon420 has shared an interesting post in which they point out that every character released during the Sumeru arc has a similar Elemental Burst. The burst animations for each of the seven new five-stars feature a specific camera angle. The only animation that stands out is Nahida’s Illusionary art, perhaps because she is a catalyst user who has a smaller character model. Also, as an Archon, she played one of the main roles in the whole Sumeru storyline. Just like the three previous Archons, Nahida’s strength lies in her ability to adapt to almostevery team composition inGenshin Impact. Her burst creates an enormous Dendro dome that provides different buffs depending on the element it interacts with.
Therecently released Dendro user Baizhualso relies on his burst do to most of the work. It allows him to create a Seamless Shield around the active character that heals them based on Baizhu’s max. HP. The shield keeps regenerating which makes Baizhu a valuable choice for Dendro team comps that need to sustain like the Bloom party. Bloom’s is one of the rare elemental reactions that can deal damage to the active characters.
Many fans have been wondering if the upcoming Fontaine characters would also have a pattern of animations that they will follow. According to recentGenshin Impactleaks,the first Fontaine update will feature three new characters. Two of those will be the popular sibling duo Lyney and Lynette who appeared on one of the game’s first story teasers.
Lyney, who is rumored to be a Pyro bow user, is also expected to have a higher five-star rarity which means that he will have a special Elemental Burst animation. Going by HoYoverse’s usual update schedule,Travelers can expect the Fontaine Archon to arrivein updates 4.1 or 4.2.
