Solving The Sudoku Puzzle
The Sudoku puzzle is found in Jacob Kane’s office near his desk, and can be scanned in AR vision to allow players to interact with it. It functions as a Sudoku grid, but smaller than normal, being only 4x4 rather than 9x9. Thebasic rules of any sudoku puzzle, as Alfred and the others at the Belfry will be quick to point out, are that each row and column can only contain a symbol once. Essentially, no row or column can repeat the same symbol.
There are only four symbols in this puzzle, and several rows and columns start with three symbols already locked in. This is good, as it makes solving the puzzle far easier. Begin by filling in the missing symbol on any row or column that already has 3/4 symbols completed. This will start to narrow down the symbols that can fit into the remaining slots, and will also cause several other rows and columns to be left with only one empty space, allowing this process to be repeated on those rows and columns.
Players should keep narrowing down their options like this, and thepuzzle will be solved in no time at all. Of course, if players want to just finish the puzzle and get on with it, they can also just copy the image below to fill out the entire puzzle, since it is the same every time.
With the puzzle solved players are one step closer to Jacob Kane’s secret elevator, with only a metal door to cut through and some security forces to fight off before it can be found. If only there was a convenient talking laser drill to help with that, eh?
