There are severallocations missing inHogwarts Legacyfrom theHarry Potterfranchise that could provide players with even more magical and rewarding experiences in a sequel. Some could enable players to experience never-before-scene areas while others could help to bring more of the magic scene on the movie screen to life in the game world for ultimate Hogwarts immersion. Some locations could also help develop players' relationships with companions or other popular NPCs.
10Diagon Alley
Apart from Hogwarts Castle, Hogsmeade is perhaps one of themost iconic locations inHogwarts Legacywhere players get their wand from Ollivander’s shop. Although Hogsmeade has similar vibes, many players might fantasize about experiencing the magic of Diagon Alley when shopping for their wizarding supplies for a change of scene.
If there was a story reason to visit Diagon Alley, it could be an enchanting and iconic movie location to include in any potential sequel, especially if players get to see the popular location more than once.
9The Leaky Cauldron
As the entrance to Diagon Alley, The Leaky Cauldron could make for an exciting pitstop and alternative to The Three Broomsticks or Hog’s Head in Hogsmeade. According toHarry Potterlore, The Leaky Cauldron first appeared around the 16th century, so would have been aroundwhenHogwarts Legacytakes place.

The presence of the Leaky Cauldron could also enable players to see a bit more of 19th-century Victorian London, which players seem to get a glimpse of with the horse and carriage in the game’s opening cutscene.
8Knockturn Alley
A sequel could also introduce players to Knockturn Alley, the dark and dangerous area near Diagon Alley with its range of mysterious Dark Arts-themed shops. In theHarry Pottermovies, viewers see Draco Malfoy by Borgin and Burkes, one of Knockturn Alley’s shops. InHarry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry accidentally floo-flames there and finds a creepy skeletal hand with a similar appearance showing up inHogwarts Legacy’s Restricted Section as an easter egg.
The dingy storage areas of the Restricted Section are perhapsHogwarts Legacy’s closest reflection of Knockturn Alley, but in a sequel, it would be cool to have a dedicated Dark Arts shop. Players more interested in a Dark Arts orDeath Eater build inHogwarts Legacyneed places to shop too.
7Another Magical School
Hearing all about Uagadou school surrounded by clouds from player companion Natty makes the prospect of visiting a different magical school to Hogwarts an enchanting idea. There are many other wizarding schools players could visit, particularly if anything similar to a Triwizard Tournament appears. It could be intriguing to see more of how theHarry Potteruniverse varies across different cultures.

Whether it’s feasible for a full sequel is perhaps less likely, but it could show up in a side quest line, especially if the developers are keen to see players' reactions.
6Ministry Of Magic
The Ministry of Magic is referred to several times in Hogwarts Legacy and players get to meet Ministry Official George Osric. However, players don’t get to step foot in the Ministry itself. As a grand and spectacular building, it would be another iconicHarry Pottermovie location for players to explore, whether players are meant to be there or not for some kind of mission.
Any potential Hogwarts Legacy sequel could give players a story reason to visit the Ministry, particularly if it relates toHogwarts Legacy’s endingsand the impacts of the choices players make concerning Ancient Magic.
5More Companion Or NPC Houses
InHogwarts Legacy, players can visit companion Sebastian Sallow’s house and meet his sister Anne. Although players get to meet Natty’s mother, one of Hogwart’s professors, it could be enjoyable to visit their home in Uagadou.

It could also be cool to visit popular NPCs like Ominis Gaunt’s home location during a side quest to meet more of the family he talks about and witness more of his home life as a descendant of Salazar Slytherin living in a Pure-blood household. As a significant character in the Sebastian quest line, it would be interesting to see if either character continues to play a prominent role in a potential sequel.
4The House Of Black
The House of Black is one of the oldest wizarding families in theHarry Potteruniverse whose extensive family tree appears inHarry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Players who choose Slytherin House get to meet Scrope, a house-elf in the Black family household in aHogwarts Legacyhouse-exclusive quest. There is also some fascinating Black family lore through the game’s hedge maze puzzles.
Imagine meeting more Black family characters seen on the family tree tapestry by visiting the infamous House of Black through Scrope, perhaps in a quest where players try to help house elves like Scrope and Deek as Hermione does in the movies.
3Under The Black Lake
Although players get to fly above the Black Lake next to Hogwarts, the game’s diving mechanics are limited, so players never really get to see what lies underneath or the full picture of its giant squid. Exploring the lake in a sequel could enable players to experience all kinds of magical creatures like merpeople and grindylows as well as use other spells and incantations like the Bubble-head charm to explore its depths.

The Black Lake also likely holds many mysteries, where hunting for other types of treasure beyond cosmetics could be introduced in a different kind of magical location.
2The Chamber Of Secrets
Hogwarts Legacyhas many secret locations, especially around Hogwarts Castle. Although players get to visit Salazar Slytherin’s secret scriptorium, one area not explored that could make a brilliant and exciting secret area in a potential sequel is the Chamber of Secrets.
According to the lore, a member of the Gaunt family called Corvinus Gaunt knew how to open the Chamber, so it would be interesting if this information ever becomes known to Ominis Gaunt, something which could potentially be explored in a sequel.
1Platform 9 And 3/4s
Hogwarts Legacy’s Hogsmeade Station and Train is a fantastic recreation of theHarry Pottermovies' Hogwarts Express, but it would be awesome to see its starting point at Platform 9 and 3/4s. Although players play as a 5th year inHogwarts Legacy, in a sequel, players could potentially visit the famous magical platform by helping first-year students as a Prefect and maybe even accompanying them across the lake during their first visit to Hogwarts.
Players also don’t get to ride inside the train, so sitting inside the train would be another way to immerse themselves in the world and an alternative way to travel the vast open-world map.
Hogwarts Legacyis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, with a Switch version releasing November 14.
