Treasure Vaults are known to be extremely simple inHogwarts Valley. Regions like the Forbidden Forest and Hogsmeade Valley contain mostly simple vaults that either involve enchanted cubes or pulling levers.
Poidsear Coast, however, has a couple of tricky Treasure Vaults that require some basic knowledge of chess inHogwarts Legacy. That’s because players will have to move chess pieces to their correct position to checkmate. The following guide will list all possible puzzles found in the Poidsear Coast Region and how to solve them.

Poidsear Coast Treasure Vaults And How To Open Them In Hogwarts Legacy
Players can explore seven Treasure Vaults in the Poidsear Coast Region.
Treasure Vault #1
Fast travel to the Poidsear Castle Floo Flame and head southwest to find the first vault. The entrance is at the base of the mountain wide open. Luckily,there’s no puzzle insideso immediately open the treasure chest.
Treasure Vault #2
Since the second Treasure Vault is also southwest of the Poidsear Castle waypoint, simply keep heading in the same direction from the previous vault. When a mountain appears, circle around it and turn northeast to see the vault’s entrance.
To open it,an enchanted cube is required. The object is found west, locked in a cageguarded bya group of Poachers inHogwarts Legacy. Sadly, it’s a level III lock soAlohomora IIIis vital. Once protagonists guide the cube to its platform usingAccioorWingardium Leviosa, cast afire spellto open the vault.
Treasure Vault #3
The third treasure vault is found in the western part of the Poidsear Coast Region, which makes it easily accessible by flying east from the previous vault location.
Defeat the Poacher guarding the entrance and unlock the door by castingAlohomora II. Take care of the Inferi inside and approach the wall next to the room’s entrance to claim the treasure.
Treasure Vault #4
The fourth vault is reached by heading east from the Phoenix Mountain Cave Floo Flame. To open the gate, useDepulsomultiple times on one of the two mechanisms then slow it down usingArresto Momentum. Cast Depulso repeatedly on the second one and enter the vault.

Chess Puzzle Solution 3 - Rook
Treasure Vault #5
Teleport back to the Phoenix Mountain Cave, but this time, go southwest. Defeat the Loyalists guarding the door and open it usingAlohomora I. Luckily, it doesn’t requirecollecting any Demiguise Statues to learn this spell inHogwarts Legacy. To get the chest, keep following the swirling leaves until they transform into a chest.

Treasure Vault #6
The sixth Treasure Vault is southwest of thePhoenix Mountain Cave Floo Flame inHogwarts Legacy. Once players reach the top of the mountain where the vault is, turn northeast to find the entrance. Unlocking the vault’s door requiresAlohomora III.
Treasure Vault #7
The final vault is in proximity to the previous one, so it’s possible to keep going southwest to locate the Treasure Vault at the base of the mountain. To find the enchanted cube, head southeast to see a couple of Poachers. Defeat the enemies andlift the coffin’s lid to release the enchanted cube. Guide it back to the entrance anduseGlaciusinHogwarts Legacyto open the vault.
Once inside, keep usingDepulsoon the mechanism to move the pile of rocks to the other side of the room, transforming it into a platform to reach the upper room.
