The newHonkai: Star RailVersion 1.6 has just dropped and with it comes the games’ new event, Crown of the Mundane and Divine. This new event serves as a Trailblaze Continuance mission and currently consists of two major quests that players will have to go through to be able to not only play the time-limited side events but also unlock the new characters' visitor invitations to the Astral Express. The first part of the quest is titled When the Stars of Ingenuity Shine and introduces players to the new limited banner 5-star character Ruan Mei.
Much like previousHonkai: Star Railmissions, this one is equally lengthy and time-consuming. You will have to follow Ruan Mei around the Space Station and help her retrieve some life forms that have escaped to theSeclusion Zone.As this is a new areathat will be introduced during the event, players can indeed freely traverse around and explore to their heart’s content. The quest will eventually lead to a fight with a new Boss enemy that will be introduced in this patch.
How to Defeat the Starcrusher Swarm King
This new boss is not that hard to defeat as all of its summons are weak toPhysical DMG. The fight has2 Phases, and the Swarm King is weak toPhysical, Ice and Imaginarytype elements. One thing to keep in mind is that when fighting the boss in itsMultiply State,players need to keep breaking the Swarm King’s Toughness. Forget about the Swarm surrounding it, as when you attack the Swarm King, breaking its Toughness will cause the surrounding swarms to self-explode.
Players can take characters such asArgenti, Yanxing, Physical Trailblazer, or Claraas heavy hitters that can weaken the Swarm King’s Toughness and their accompanying support to carry you through the fight.
After successfully completing the first part of the quest, you may then move on to the next part in the Master Control Zone. Follow through the story and recall the memories you shared with Asta, Arlan, and Adler to build an alibi. The main objective of this second quest - Mundane Troubles, is to try and investigate the attack on one of Herta’s puppets and recall the Trailblazer’s missing memory.
Once you have saved Adler, spoken to Asta again, and identified Emily as the other Researcher, you will then have all3 Cognitive Chasmsin your possession. Go back into the memory of Arlan’s Investigation and submit theCognitive Chasm: Researchers’ Disappearanceto ArlanandCognitive Chasm: The Xianzhou Allianceto Adler.
Once you have received theCognitive Chasm: Energy Lifeform, present it to Herta and reiterate all your memoriesback to Dr Ratioand the Investigation Team. Unfortunately, he is still wary of the Trailblazers' words, and this is where you will have to debate with him to successfully get through the test.
How to Successfully Counteract Dr Ratio’s Argument
Once you continue on, the scene will switch into Questioning Mode, and you will have to present each of the following evidence for each statement that you collected through the Memory Recollection. Simply click on theRecallbutton to present the relevant evidence.
The debate will end, and a short cut scene will play afterward. You’ll need to receive some help from Arlan, Wen Shiling, Pamela, andDan Heng, who will give yousome Clues that can help further the investigation.
Once you meet back with the Investigation team, there will be another round of discussions where you will have to present evidence using the Clues previously obtained.
You will now be tasked with finding the Infernal Fire that has kidnapped Asta and embark on an Exploratory Excursion to track it down.Physical, Wind, and Imaginary charactersare recommended for this Excursion, as there will be quite a few enemies lurking around the domain.
Successfully defeat all the enemies to complete the quest and invite Dr Ratio onto the Astral Express.
