Marvel’sSpider-Man 2was one of the most-anticipated and loved games in a year that was filled to the brim with stellar titles. Despite the dust well and truly settling on the release of the game and many players having the opportunity to experience the collaboration between Peter Parker and Miles Morales, the team at Insomniac brought a major update to the game that included some heavily sought-after features, including the long-awaitedNew Game Plus mode.
One of the extra bonuses that were thrown in with the massive update toSpider-Man 2was the ability for players to choose the symbiote color that Peter wears when donning the symbiote suit and making use of abilities seen on the likes of one of the game’s main antagonists, Venom. For players looking to customize their symbiote look their way, here ishow to change the symbiote tendril colors inSpider-Man 2.
How To Change Symbiote Color in Spider-Man 2
Players looking to customize their symbiote color are welcome to do so, but the options are unfortunately very limited. You will have three options to choose from:Black, White, or Story. While black and white are self-explanatory, the Story color indicates that Peter’s symbiote tendrils will be the color of the symbiote he wields at the point of the story that players are currently at. Essentially, this is the default option and will be black or white, depending onthe chapter inSpider-Man 2you are currently playing.
To change your symbiote color inSpider-Man 2, simply follow these steps:
There is no limitation to the number of times you’re able to change your tendril colors, just as there are no restrictions on when and how often you canchange your suit inSpider-Man 2. So, feel free to switch it over as you please for a fresh look at Spider-Man’s symbiote abilities.
The tendril color change is not the only addition toSpider-Man 2that came with the March 7 update. On top of this, players can also manuallychange the time of dayin the game, as well as replay their favorite missions to get the satisfaction of besting some of Marvel’s toughest villains and showcasing Peter and Miles' range of special abilities all over again.
This option is only available post-game, so players will first need to complete the main story forSpider-Man 2before they can toggle the color of their symbiote tendrils.
