Cosmetics Through Crafting

To get new cosmetic items out of old items, you canrecycle them and craft new cosmetics. All you need to do is head to your inventory, locate the item you want to recycle under Cosmetics, and choose Recycle. In return, you’ll get some Common Cosmetic Materials, which you will need to get a total of 10 pieces to create something new.

Once you have recycled at least 10 unwanted items and have received the required amount ofCommon Cosmetic Materials, go to the Crafting section in your inventory, and choose Cosmetic Crafting at the bottom left. You can then craft an Uncommon Cosmetic using the 10 Common Cosmetic Materials you picked up. The Uncommon Cosmetic you get in return will be random, so you won’t be able to choose the item you want. If you want to craft higher-quality items, you’ll need to recycle 10 Uncommon Items, 10 Rare Items, and so on.

Cosmetics Through Trading

The last method you can use is trading. However, with this method, you’ll have to sell one of your own items or cosmetics in return for someone else’s cosmetics. The best place to find some items that people are willing to trade is through themarket, or theSteam trading forum.

Outside of recycling items for crafting, this is the best way to clean out your inventory of items you no longer want in return for some cosmetics. This will take some more time than other methods, however, because you might not be able to trade with others immediately, but you might be able to find a few people willing to trade consideringit is a co-op gameso you’ll be frequently meeting new players.
