Hunter x Hunterhas beenpushing out incredible chapters weeklyfor the past few weeks ever since the manga’s return from a 4 year long hiatus. With over a month since its return having passed already,Hunter x Hunter 395is all set to mark the potential halfway point of the upcoming volume – keeping in mind that the last time Hunter x Hunter came back, it ran in the Jump magazine for 10 chapters before going back into its hiatus. It’s likely the upcoming chapter could be marking the halfway point of this batch of chapters, with 5 more to follow, ending with chapter 400. That is, unless Yoshihiro Togashi has more in store for the fans.

The past few chapters since the return of theHunter x Huntermanga have been highly focused on the three large mafia families of the Kakin Empire, Xi-Yu, Heil-ly, and Cha-R. These previous chapters also managed to build up each one of these mafia families decently, and now, some information on one of the Princes, the 4th Prince, Tserriednich, was unraveled, with some individuals who are supposedly his friends entering the fray.Hunter x Hunter395 will continue in the Succession Contest arc and its current plot points.
Hunter x Hunter 395: Hisoka And The Phantom Troupe
While in the last chapter neither Hisoka nor the Phantom Troupe were seen, the current plot certainly concerns them as they appeared not so long ago, in Hunter x Hunter 393. Fans saw a few members of the Spiders – notably Nobunaga, Phinks, and Feitan establishing the goal of taking down the head of the Heil-ly family, Morena Prudo, making an alliance with Cha-R. Meanwhile, Hisoka was discovered by the underlings of Xi-Yu, specifically Zakuro Casturd and Lynch Fullbocco – who then went on to guide the underboss of Xi-Yu, Hinrigh Biganduffno, right to him. With that in mind,Hinrigh and Hisoka agreed on a dealthat ensuredHisoka would lay lowfor some time in the level 1 Deck and not engage with the Spiders, unless provoked.

A few plot points that could be tackled inHunter x Hunterchapter 395 could concern Hisoka and the Spiders. Hisoka could well be seen on his way to level 1 of the Black Whale. After all, the last time he was seen was on level 3, and a lot could happen on his way there.As far as the Phantom Troupe goes, the story could either focus on the three Spiders that the fans have seen recently, or it could take a different approach and let the readers see the other members waiting for their moment in this arc. It would certainly be interesting to see the head of the spiders, Chrollo Lucilfer, as it has been years since his last appearance, especially since the two members of Xi-Yu, Zakuro Casturd, and Lynch Fullbocco are now on his track.
Hunter x Hunter 396: Hinrigh And Heil-ly’s Actions
In the latestHunter x Hunterchapters, 393 and 394, Hinrigh Biganduffno and Wang, both underbosses for Xi-Yu and Cha-R respectively, followed an officer that guided them toward the first-class middle chamber. There, they found an old man, who Hinrigh Biganduffno proceeded to throw a knife at. Surprisingly, at impact, the man didn’t bleed and ended up vanishing. When Tassi, one of the underlings accompanying them, entered the room, he vanished and was transported to the hideout of Heil-ly, where he was swiftly murdered.
After all these events unfolded, Hinrigh Biganduffno decided to follow his own lead. He returned to the spot where he left the camera that he had transformed into a cat in earlier chapters, and this is precisely what could end up becoming an important plot point in the upcoming chapters ofHunter x Hunter.The footage could possibly put him on the track to figuring out more about the Heil-ly secrets, perhaps a different entrance to their hideout that he could access safely.
Heil-ly, on their hand, have a lot planned. It seems most Heil-ly members are attempting to reach level 21,which would unlock their nen abilities. If Heil-ly is able to unlock nen for a vast number of its members, this could definitely mean trouble for the rest. With that as their goal, they would likely need to hunt for more targets to achieve the desired power. More interestingly, Morena handed over a very important mission to one of her underlings, most likely the Heil-ly underboss, Dogman. She tasked him with finding something intriguing that she’s looking for. While it’s not clear what this is,Hunter x Hunter395 could see Dogman go into action as he attempts to fulfill this mission.
When Will Hunter X Hunter 395 Release?
After the big reveal of the 4th Prince’s friends was unraveled last week, the story will, hopefully, give them more time to develop, as this arc hasn’t had too many memorable side characters compared to what fans are typically used to.Hunter x Hunterchapter 395 is expected to drop in the next issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump magazine.
