Summary

Satoru Gojo is arguably the strongest character in theJujutsu Kaisenworld, being a one-of-a-kind prodigy with hard-to-rival abilities, such as the Six Eyes or his Limitless Cursed Technique. With season 2 ofJujutsu Kaisen, anime watchers were exposed to more of this character as he took a great focus during the first arc covered, Gojo’s Past arc, and then fought I’m Shibuya as well.

Easily one of the most beloved characters in this show, fans are always awaiting any fight he goes into to see him demonstrate his phenomenal skills and abilities. Few characters can come close to rivaling Gojo. Nevertheless, this character has fought his fair share of powerful foes, be it humans or curses.

Jogo Disaster Flames Jujutsu Kaisen - Featured-1

5Jogo

Jogo is a special grade curse who works under Mahitoand with other special grade curses with the goal to eradicate humanity, as he believes curses are the real humans and, therefore, holds a disdain towards humans.

Jogo has fought against Gojo on multiple occasions, the first being when he arrogantly thought he could take him on during the Fearsome Womb Arc. He quickly learns that he is no match for Gojo and barely escapes with his life, thanks to Hanami’s help. Jogo is a powerful curse, but not powerful enough to fight against Gojo.

They, however, go on to fight again, this time teaming up with Hanami. The collective effort of these two, Choso and Mahito allows Kenjaku, or pseudo-Geto, to seal Gojo away as this is the only way they can get rid of him, due to him being too powerful even with all their might combined.

4Mahito

Mahito is a special grade curse, which alone is enough to showcase how much of a threat he is to anyone who encounters him. He also plays a big role in a major chunk of theJujutsu Kaisenstory as a major antagonist. With the goal to eradicate humanity with his group, he and his group ally with Kenjaku, who possesses Geto’s body.

While Mahito is powerful, he does not take on Gojo on his own. Indeed, he had the backup of other cursed spirits Jogo, Hanami, and Choso. All together, they fought Gojo on the Fukutoshin Line Platform to accomplish the plan of sealing Gojo. While Gojo does not exactly lose the fight against them, he ends up being sealed away by Kenjaku, making this a defeat for him despite his superior strength.

Suguru Geto Jujutsu Kaisen 0

3Suguru Geto

Suguru Geto was a student at Tokyo Jujutsu High and in the same class as Satoru Gojo and Shoko Ieiri. His relationship with Gojo was especially close and they were quite good friends, even taking on most missions together.

Geto, just like Gojo, is quite the powerful sorcerer, being one of only four Special Grade Sorcerers. Geto ends up dying at the hands of his best friend, and he brings upon his own downfall, which starts with the death of Riko Amanai. This only worsens after his talk with Yuki Tsukumo and then the death of Yu Haibara. Gojo puts an end to him but doesn’t destroy his body, which leads to Kenjaku taking over, becoming pseudo-Geto. While they did not outright fight, Suguru is still one of the strongest individuals Gojo had to face, physically and mentally.

2Toji Fushiguro

The Sorcerer Killer, Toji Fushiguro, is one ofJujutsu Kaisen’smost interesting antagonists as he served as the main villain during the first part of season 2, which is the Gojo’s Past arc. While Toji cannot use Cursed Energy, he is not to be underestimated, thanks to his superhuman strength. Even the most powerful sorcerers could often not contend with him, as seen when he defeated Suguru Geto, who was, at the time of their fight, a Grade 1 sorcerer.

Toji Fushiguro ends up going head to head with a 16-year-old Satoru Gojo. Toji attacks Gojo using his cursed tools and actually defeats him before heading towards his real target. Gojo only defeats Toji in their rematch by making use of Hollow Purple.

1Sukuna

Sukuna, the King of Curses, is the only character who will ever be able to truly rival Satoru Gojo, as they are both the best of their eras and prodigies in their own regard. It is still unclear who is stronger of the two, even after their fight in the manga concluded with the victory of Sukuna. This is largely due to Sukuna having access to extra powers, such as Megumi’s body and the powerful Ten Shadows Technique.

Gojo has fought Sukuna before, however, that was very early on in the series when he hadn’t retrieved his fingers and was, thus, in an extremely weakened state. When at full power, Sukuna fared well against Gojo, however, was largely outclassed throughout the vast majority of the battle. In the end, however, he created a technique to bypass Infinity, thanks to Mahoraga, and killed Gojo.
