Modern Warfare 2: How to Get the Test Drive Trophy/Achievement

With the release ofCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, a whole new set of trophies/achievements are now available for players to add to their gamer profile. And while some trophies/achievements are straightforward, a few will test any hardcore gamer. Here’s how to complete theTest Drivetrophy/achievement from Mission 10:Violence and TiminginModern Warfare 2.

Getting the Test Drive Trophy in Modern Warfare 2

Players that want to complete this trophy/achievement will want toset their Difficulty to Recruitbecause there are some armored enemies in this mission, which areamong the most challengingModern Warfareenemies to fight.

The main goal of this trophy/achievement is todrive five different vehicle types. But, since there are only four different enemy vehicle types, players will need tohijack a parked civilian vehicle. And while there’s no time limit, if the player stays too far from the enemy convoy, they’ll fail the mission.

Some players have had issues obtaining this trophy/achievement after restarting from the last checkpoint, so it’s best to complete it all in one go. There’s no particular set of vehicle players must hijack, so as long they do it before they reach the point when the convoy veers toward the desert road. But, this guide will provide players with the fastest method for completing the Test Drive trophy/achievement.

1 - Enemy Pickup Truck

After Gaz cuts himself loose from the helicopter, the game forces the player to hijack an enemy pickup truck.This pickup truck will be the first vehicle players will hijack.

2 - Military Cargo Truck

Players should slow down enough to hijack the military cargo truck they’ve just jumped off. This will be the second vehicle type players will hijack.

3 - Parked Yellow Van

Shortly after coming out of a curve, players will notice ayellow van parked on the right side of the road. Players should slow down, exit their vehicle, and hijack that van. This will be the third vehicle type players will hijack.

4 - Parked Beige Sedan

After driving a bit further, players will notice abeige sedan parked on the right side of the road. Once again, players should exit their vehicle andhijack the parked sedan. This is the fourth vehicle type players will hijack.

5 - Military Humvee

Players will have to drive quite a bit to reach the next vehicle type, which is a military humvee. During this time, players will have to fight several vehicles packed with AQ soldiers, making it one of themost thrilling parts of the campaign.

The military humvee will be quite easy to spot since an armored unit will pop out of the vehicle’s middle section. Players should make sure to eliminate that armored unit before hijacking the humvee. This is the final vehicle type players will hijack to obtain theTest Drive trophy/achievement.
