A newGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3trailer and poster were released during Sunday night’s Super Bowl, offering fans a closer look at Will Poulter’s Adam Warlock and his powers. Since the trailer dropped, fans have been discussing which character could be killed off by the film’s ending, with many believing it will be Rocket or Drax.Based on the newGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3trailer, the squad will seemingly get back together again, including the Multiversal version of Gamora, to save Rocket after details from his past are revealed. In typicalGuardians of the Galaxyfashion, the trailer consists of humor, action, emotion, and destruction. Might seem like he missed “some important information,” but that’s his version of the story. Set to the catchy number “Since You Been Gone” by Rainbow, theGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3trailer then offers glimpses of various scenes from the film, with the major focus being on the Guardians' battle againstChukwudi Iwuji’s The High Evolutionary.
“Are you ready for one last ride?” Star-Lord is heard asking his squad, reminding fans that this is the end of the ride for the Guardians. Along their journey, they will also encounter the powerful Adam Warlock, who is on a mission to hunt them down and “incinerate them.” Will he succeed in his mission? Only time will tell, but judging by theGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3trailer, it isn’t going to be an entirely happy ending. “We’ll all fly away together into the forever, and beautiful sky,” Rocket states, while a montage of the main characters reacting over a possible death plays. Gunn has also confirmed thatone Guardians of the Galaxy character will diein this film.
Since theGuardians of the Galaxyfranchise was launched, many fans havewondered about Rocket Raccoon’s origins. While it has been kept a secret so far, based on theGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3trailer, it seems like The High Evolutionary was responsible for the creation of Bradley Cooper’s iconic character.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3is scheduled to premiere in theaters on July 10, 2025.
