Inspired by theSuper Smash Brosfranchise,Nickelodeon All-Star Brawlfeatured a power-packed cast of heroes from the Nickelodeon universe where players must knock their opponents off the stage. The roster included classic 90s characters such as Reptar fromRugratsand Rocko fromRocko’s Modern Life. InNickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, 14 veterans are returning from the first game, with at least nine newcomers at the time of this writing.

GameMill Entertainment has confirmed two more newcomersjoining theNickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2roster: Norbert and Daggett Beaver. These two classic cartoon characters are fromThe Angry Beavers, an animated show that aired from 1997 to 2001 on Nickelodeon. The show followed the adventures of two beaver brothers who leave their parents’ home to live as bachelors in the forest. Norbert Beaver is known for his laid-back, easygoing nature and his clever plans to escape sticky situations. Daggett Beaver is known for his childlike innocence and impulsiveness, which often puts the duo in a tough spot. Fans of the show appreciated the dynamic between the two brothers, and the show itself is considered an underrated gem by many.
An announcement video was posted to GameMill Entertainment’s YouTube channel that showcased the twonew characters fromNickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2in action. The video shows how the player switches between Norbert and Daggett during the fight, confirming that only one of these characters can be played at a time. Highlights from the video include Norbert knocking an opponent off the stage with a golf club and Daggett showcasing his taunt.
There are alwaysrumors aboutNickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2’s rostercircling the internet, but fans ofThe Angry Beaverswill be glad to know that Norbert and Daggett are officially confirmed. Other confirmed newcomers include Squidward Tentacles, Jimmy Neutron, Plankton, and El Tigre. Donatello and Raphael from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are also confirmed to join the new cast of fighters. Some veterans from the first game can be used in the sequel as well, including SpongeBob SquarePants, Rocko, Zim, and Reptar.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl2is currently in development for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
