The Ninja Village

One of the more comedic moments from this short chapter came right from where it started. Ever since the end of Chapter 192, when Sonicfaced his 14th defeat at the hands of Saitama, he escaped once more to his abandoned building hideout. Nursing his bruised head with an ice pack, he is set upon once more by his upperclassmen from the Ninja Village, Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame.

However, this time, both of them are ambushed by a huge group of different Ninjas who, themselves, are alsoalumni of the Ninja Village from different batches. After subduing the two rogue Ninjas, everyone from the group individually introduces himself, after which they all gather together and reveal themselves to be the ‘Heavenly Ninja Party’.

It is here that the leader of the group tells Sonic that the founder of the Ninja Village has finally awoken after being in recovery for 15 years. He goes on to say that this leader is said to be the strongest Ninja in all of history and that the reason he has been in a coma for all this time isdue to his vicious battle against Blast. After losing the fight, he had been recovering and has only now fully awoken to help his Heavenly Ninja Party claim the world for themselves, which they will rule with their superior Ninja skills.

Blast’s Plan

After the events with Sonic, there is an immediate cutaway tothe Hero Association HQin a scene that takes place immediately after where Chapter 192 ends. Over here, the heroes are taken to meet Blast by Sitch, who asks Flashy Flash why Saitama and Manako are even there, to which Flash replies by saying that they were there with him at his first encounter with God so it felt apt to have them here now.

Right off the bat, the chapter wastes no time in explaining why the elusive Blast is even there in the first place. This is when it shows a sort of experimentation room which the heroes are looking down on from the outside, as two previously monsterified characters from the Super Fight Tournament arc are brought in. These characters are electrocuted in an attempt to understand how to turnmonsterified creatures back into humans, which is what Blast needed to know.

However, this does not initially seem to make much of a difference to most of the monsters there, who just seem very damaged and worn out by the end of the experiment. However, one bearlike monster does start to show some positive feedback. He begins to express sadness about the fact that when he was once a human,he fought at a dojo with his friendsand fellow students but he decided to forego all of that to achieve strength through monsterification. Since it is known that monsterification leads to a cap of potential, the monster expresses grief upon being left behind by his peers.

It then shows him worn out but still willing to undergo treatment if it means that he will turn back to normal, which is whenBlast remarks that psychological stateand willingness to turn back is key to ending monsterification. Moreover, we also learn Manako’s backstory as it was revealed that she was once a part of Gyoro-Gyoro while she was being created, but broke off from the main body at one point and became a separate being.

The chapter ends on a massive cliffhanger as Flashy Flash turns to Blast and makes it known that he is here for some very specific information. After everything that was shown and alluded to in the initial part of the chapter with Sonic, Flashy Flash asks Blast what he knows about the Ninja Village, the leader and his connection with God, as well as his relationship with him!

Predictions for Chapter 196

With this massive question being raised by Flashy Flash, fans are almost guaranteed to get the backstory on one of the series' most mysterious characters; Blast. The next chapter will probably showhow Blast properly got to know about Godand all that he is doing to stop the villain. Most importantly, however, Chapter 196 will most likely answer the fan theory about the leader of the Ninja Village. Back in Chapter 173, it was revealed how God first showed himself to Blast during his battle with Elder Centipede.

After this, it was told that Blast had been on a decades-long search for all of the God cubes and in doing so, he also had a partner that helped in this goal. However, nothing about this partner was revealed, though the prevailing theory is that he somehow became evil and joined God. Seeing as how the partner was dressed similarly to a Ninja, many have taken it to believe that he is also the leader of the Ninja Village, which will also be getting much more light cast on it in the new chapter byrevealing Flash and Sonic’s relationship fully!
