ThePokemon GOSquirtle Community Day Classic event starts on Sunday, July 9, at 2:00 PM and ends the same day at 5:00 PM local time. During the event or up to two hours afterward, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, players can evolve Wartortle to obtain a Blastoise with the Water-type Charged Attack, Hydro Cannon. One should also note that Shiny Squirtle is already accessible, so there is an increased chance of encountering it throughout this event.

The Squirtle Community Day Classic-exclusive Special Research story is available in thePokemon GOstorefor US$1.00 or its equivalent in local currency. The tickets are nonrefundable, subject to applicable law and the exceptions in the Terms of Service.
There are Four Steps in the Special Research story, and each step consists of various time-consuming tasks, excluding the Final Step. Players have a window of 5 hours to complete all of these tasks and proceed to the Last Step, which rewards a Blastoise encounter.Pokemon GOplayersmust complete all these steps to complete the Special Research story and claim every reward.
