Unlike some other events where all spawns have a boosted shiny rate,the Sustainability Week 2024 boosts only apply to Pokemon hatched via2km eggs. This can be a bummer for many, but the best way to increase the odds of getting a shiny is by hatching as many eggs as possible. Players can use Super Incubators to boost the speed of the eggs hatching, which should allow them to hatch more eggs during the course of the event.
Alternatively, it should be noted that despite wild encounters having regular rates, players shouldn’t totally give up on those, By using items such as Incense and Lure Modules, players can boost the spawn rate significantly which passively increases their chances of getting a shiny variant of the Pokemon.
