SquishmallowPokemonGengar and Pikachu have been spotted in the wild at Walmart, but it’s likely the supply won’t last long. The adorable renditions ofPokemonhave been wildly popular, and they’re often hard to find when fans head to stores.Squishmallows are a particular brand of soft plush toy, and the Pokemon produced so far are round, huggable, and cute, as the name implies. They feature somewhat simplified designs and come in different sizes, including an impressive 20 inches.RELATED:Pokemon Squishmallows Appear at Walmart, But Then Disappear in Apparent ‘Recall’While not the latestPokemonSquishmallow designs to be revealed,Pikachu and Gengarare extremely popular Pokemon, and many fans have been struggling to find them without a huge markup from resellers. Those fans will want to hurry to their local Walmart stores, as severalPokemonfans have shared images and success stories of bringing home their own Pikachu, Gengar, or both Squishmallows for their collections.

Unfortunately, while thePokemonSquishmallows would likely sell out quickly just from collectors buying them, resellers are likely to make them disappear even faster. Fans have already reported seeing people hoarding dozens ofPokemonSquishmallows in their carts, likely indicating that they plan to resell them on the web. Sadly, gamers and collectors in general encounter this kind of thing all the time, as everything fromPS5stoPokemontrading cards have been quickly scooped up and resold online.

Although the supply ofPokemonSquishmallows may be inadequate with resellers buying so many, thankfully they’re not a particularly limited item. If fans miss out on this opportunity, chances are that thePokemonSquishmallows will make a return to storesagain at some point in the future. There’s no telling when that may occur, though, so fans who are itching to get one now should definitely scour their local Walmart stores.

Sadly, there’s not much that can be done about the scalping situation. While stores have been inclined in the past to place limits on sales of PS5s, for example, a simple plush toy isn’t likely to see the same treatment. All fans can really do is try to grab one for themselves in stores, or deal with a higher price.

For those who aren’t particularly interested in Gengar or Pikachu, or already own them, there are morePokemonSquishmallows on the horizon.Togepi and Snorlax Squishmallowsare on their way, with Piplup, Clefairy, and Teddiursa also getting the Squishmallow treatment. A special winking Pikachu variant is also planned to be sold. Some of these Squishmallows will be eventually released at Walmart, but others will be sold at Target, so fans may need to shop around a bit when they launch.
