Summary
Sony has shared a list of 11 games that will be leaving the Premium and Extra tiers ofPlayStation Plusin April 2024. The newly confirmed departures are expected to be removed from thePlayStation Pluslibrary on April 16.
The PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog changes ordinarily occur on the third Tuesday of each month. That’s usually when Sony also updates the “Leaving Soon” section of its subscription service. However, this month’s PS Plus catalog rotationcame and went on March 19 without any such information being shared.
Two days later, the “Leaving Soon” tab has finally been refreshed to reflect the titles that are set to be removed from the service in April 2024. The next wave of PS Plus departures is headlined bySoul Calibur 6, Bandai Namco’s critically acclaimed fighting game. The rest of the list mostly comprises niche indie titles. Fans of digital angling only have four more weeks to playBassmaster Fishing 2022andReel Fishing: Road Trip Adventureas part oftheir PS Plus subscriptions. Humorous mayhem gameDangerous Golfis also part of next month’s departures, as is Saber Interactive’s fairly-well received remaster ofGhostbusters: The Video Game.

Based on the average player completion times, Rockfish Games' sci-fi roguelikeEverspaceis the most content-packed of the newly announced departures. Achievement hunters looking to get the most of their PS Plus subscriptions should ostensibly manage to complete the majority of these titles before they leave the service in April, even if they are yet to start any of them. These 11 games are expected toleave PS Plus Extra and Premiumon April 16.
Although Sony typically communicates departures from its subscription service a month in advance, some surprises do occasionally occur. One such exception happened mere days ago, when the Extra and Premium tiers ofPS Plus lost three more gamesthan Sony initially announced would be departing from the service in March 2024. That notwithstanding, 11 games are already near the upper limit of what the platform typically loses in any given month, making surprise departures less likely to happen in April.
Sony PlayStation 5
The Sony PlayStation 5 console is one of the most popular gaming machines currently with a fast SSD, a custom AMD APU, and 16GB of GDDR6 console memory, making it one of the best options on the market. It also happens to have a surprising number of console exclusives and currently trades at a discount at multiple retailers nationwide.
