Micosoft has been enjoying a highly successful end to 2021 so far, even with the continued hardware shortages of the Xbox Series X. Thanks to Game Pass as well as dual releasing on the PC platform as well, exclusive titles likeForza Horizon 5has seen unprecedented successafter experiencing the biggest launch in Xbox and Game Pass history. In addition, Game Pass has continued to pull in major games likeOutriders,Psychonauts 2,Back 4 Blood, and more.
However, the biggest win for Microsoft in 2021 is likely going to beHalo Infinite. While the title suffered a massive delay last year, pushing it out of the Xbox Series X launch window, the extra development time seems to have been well worth it. In fact, 343 Industries surprise launched the free to play multiplayer component followingMicrosoft’s big Xbox 20th Anniversary Event, which quickly saw players flood the service to start fragging. While fans continue to eagerly await the next chapter of Master Chief’s saga, some are getting their hands on it earlier than anticipated.
