The game will supposedly launch later this year on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, however, fans won’t have to wait until then to see what this free to playbattle royaleexperience is all about. Proletariat has released a series of new screenshots and a short teaser for players to check out, with the new look at the game highlighting its vivid visual design, fun weapons, and versatile combat.

The short teaser itself holds a ton of new info about the game, with it briefly announcing that the title will be free to play at launch before getting stuck into some satisfyingly intense combat. One of the first things that’s noticeable aboutSpellbreakis just how vertical its combat feels, with players flying through the air, jumping over hazards, and using boosts to gain high altitude and better vantage points to scope out their opponents. Of course, the moment to moment gameplay itself also looks incredible, with the use of magic weapons allowing for combat that seems to focus on elemental damage and fast reaction times.
On the other hand, the screenshots slow down the remarkably fast-paced action and allow players to get a better view at the delightful art style of the game and its environments. If they’re anything to go by, the title will have a charming, animated aesthetic that seems to resemble titles likeThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.Much like the trailer, the screenshots seem to highlight that the game will have explosive action, with a number of the scenes depicting the player’s avatar avoiding magical explosions while battling several foes at once.The screenshots can be found here.
