Radiation is one of the major hurdles to overcome in space and unknown planets, and that’s no different inStarfield. Many planets will feature heavy solar radiation, which will wear down a spacesuit’s protection over time and then damage the player’s health. This can get extremely tedious when players are gathering resources, surveying new planets, or even building outposts on such places.

That’s where Radiation resistance comes in. Some spacesuits provide better protection than others. For the ultimate Radiation resistance, the Starborn spacesuits are all far above the rest, but those who decide not to go down that path still have a good amount of options to choose from. 30 points seem to be the current maximum in most general spacesuits, and here’s which spacesuits have just that as their Radiation resistance value inStarfield.
Honorable Mentions
This list is still a work in progress. As such, not all great spacesuits granting the highest Radiation resistance have been found, but here they are, listed by name and value for now:
5Deepseeker Spacesuit
A fairly easy spacesuit to find, the Deepseeker Spacesuit is as common in the game as the Deep Mining Spacesuit, for example. Looting any POIs or structures on planets has a high chance of yielding it or any improved variations of it, but those who can’t be bothered to go looking forit can also buy it from vendors.

New Atlantis, Akila City, and Neon should all have vendors that will carry it at some point in their inventories. Visually, it’s a simplistic, jack-of-all-trades kind of spacesuit, but is definitely geared more towards exploration, hence its high Radiation resistance.
4Space Trucker Spacesuit
Recognized by its distinctive light blue and light pink coloring, the Space Trucker Spacesuit is great for those who plan to spend a lot of time in the skies or exploring planets, rather than in the main cities of the settled systems.
The spacesuit can be purchased from vendors, and occasionally it can also be looted from structures in the wild, so keep an eye out for it. It shares its model with the Star Roamer and uniqueExperimental Nishina Spacesuit.
3Star Roamer Spacesuit
Identical visually to the unique Experimental Nishina Spacesuit, the Star Roamer Spacesuit is similarly common in the wild, as the previous Space Trucker Suit. It’s in the same category of spacesuits that are oriented more on general exploration, rather than combat, so expect the other stats to be somewhat lackluster.
As with the previous ones, look for it from vendor inventories or in the wild, and it should be a fairly common drop—including its better variants.
2Trackers Alliance Spacesuit
If the previous spacesuits were a little weak in terms of Damage Resistance stats, not to worry, because the Trackers Alliance Spacesuit provides not only good Radiation Resistance but also excellent protection in combat. It’s a good middle-ground choice between combat gameplay and outpost-buildingor exploration gameplay.

The Trackers Alliance spacesuit can also be bought from vendors or found by chance while exploring. It’s not an uncommon spacesuit, as players will come across it eventually during their journey.
1UC Combat Spacesuit
The UC Combat Spacesuit is most likely to be found at vendors within the UC space, so visiting settlements like Cydonia, Gagarin, and New Atlantis might be a good idea for those eager to get their hands on this combat-oriented spacesuit.
It has a unique, rather impressive design that’s perfect for players who demand a bit more edge. However, the high Radiation resistance also means that it will come in handy while exploring desolate planets with high resources and strong solar radiation.
Starfieldis available on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
