This guide has everythingTexas Chain Saw Massacreplayers need to know to change characters.
How to Change Characters in Texas Chain Saw Massacre
WheneverTexas Chain Saw Massacrefirst opens up, players can watch a short introductory video or skip straight to the Play menu. The Play menu is where they’ll pick whether they want to be a Family member or a Victim in a solo match orstart/join a lobby. Once the match loads, players will be assigned a random character to start with.
There are five total Family members and Victims to choose between. Players can switch out their characters by going to the Character tab on the main menu. If their desired character is chosen by someone else, players can request a trade. If that doesn’t yield good results, they can always load a new match or wait until the next one.
While players can play a match with any of the Victims,Leatherface must be selectedas one of the three chosen Family members to start the match. Additionally, the leftover Victim will feature in the opening cut scene for Family members.
Victim Character Attributes
When selecting a Victim to play as inTexas Chain Saw Massacre, players want to keep a few things in mind. Certain Victims fare better against specific Family members, and most of the Victims thrive in different ways.
Sonny has one of the best Endurance stats, so running away is his strong point, but his Stealth is severely lacking. Leland’s Stealth is also low, but he isby far the strongest characterand can knock down and stun the Family members easily. Each Victim also has their own special ability to assist them and teammates during matches. While Connie has low Endurance and Strength, her special ability, Focused, allows her to pick a lock without needing an Unlock Tool.

Family Member Attributes
The Family member’s attributes are designed to help them be the best team of killers they can be. Of course, Leatherface is the best at dealing damage, but there are Family members who pair well with him and help make up for some of his flaws.
Leatherface is known for his brutality and not his stealth. There are many crawl spaces and holes players can use to evade himunless they’re playing as Sissyor Johnny. They are also the only Family members who can crouch down and sneak up on Victims. The Hitchhiker is known for his Traps which contain and highlight Victims whenever they come across one.
