Walmart has officially released itsBlack Fridaysales plans for holiday 2019. Unlike thethat spread prior to Halloween, Walmart’s real Black Friday plans are much more grounded. Discounts include bundles for PlayStation 4 and all three Xbox One SKUs, as well as deals on a range of new game releases from the past year and more. While Walmart doesn’t necessarily have any major must-have Black Friday video game sales, it does have a wide variety of good to great discounts.
As for video game console bundles, Walmart’s offerings are similar to other major retailers. For PS4, there’s the $199 deal including three games:The Last of Us Remastered,God of War, andHorizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition. There’s no apparent PS4 Pro deal. For Xbox One, there are three different deals. The Xbox One S Star Wars Bundle, which includes thebrand newStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Ordergame, is also $199. A cheaper, all-digital (no disc drive) Xbox One S will be just $149 and includesMinecraft,Sea of Thieves, and someFortniteV-Bucks. The Xbox One X bundle will cost $349 and is bundled with all fiveGears of Wargames.
There is a Nintendo Switch bundle, but it’s the same disappointing bundle as at other retailers. It’s $299, full-price, and comes withMario Kart Deluxe 8. But the key point is this bundle includes theold version of the Nintendo Switch console, which has significantly worse battery life overall.
