Luckily,World of Warcrafthas clarified weekly content won’t become available inDragonflightuntil after the first weekly reset. Players do not need to fear missing out on an entire week of early progress and rewards from these weekly unlocks if they don’t hit max level in a few hours. They will have until the reset on December 6 to complete their first batch of weekly quests, giving them over a week tofinish the story ofDragonflightand unlock the endgame content.
In a blog post,World of Warcraftrevealed the list of weekliesaffected by this change. These weeklies will be unavailable until the firstDragonflightweekly reset on Tuesday, November 29.
Many players are relieved they won’t feel pressured to complete all of this content in less than a day just to keep up. With about 16 hours betweenDragonflight’slaunch and the first weekly reset, players would have to grind exceptionally hard to beat the reset. Most are relieved to hear they won’t have to skip throughDragonflightjust to keep up with progression.
Other players thinkWorld of Warcraftshould delay these weeklies even further, however. While most players will undoubtedly be able to reach level cap within the first week of the expansion, delaying the unlock of weeklies until after the following reset on December 6 would eliminate even more pressure, giving players plenty of time to explore the Dragon Isles before getting to the endgame grind. Nevertheless, this delay is better than nothing, and players can rest easy knowing they won’t have to pull an all-nighter to power through theirfirst round of Mythic dungeons inDragonflight.
World of Warcraftis available now for PC. Dragonflight launches on November 28.
