Zack Snyder’sJustice Leagueis arguably one of the most anticipated films of 2021. Snyder and Warner Bros have been promoting the hell out of the film over the last few months, with trailers recently dropping, exclusive images, and even ablack and white version of the filmbeing confirmed. Though it was announced that Snyder’s $70 million dollar restoration of the film would be coming to HBO Max in 2021, this left international viewers uncertain. HBO Max is currently only available in the US (although there is a plan to extend it to parts of Latin America in 2021), meaning fans from around the world would possibly not have the same access to it. Thankfully, it seems that Warner Bros will be going through the effort to ensure the film is available to audiences everywhere, but in what form still remains uncertain for some.

Justice Leaguehad a tumultuous journey, to say the least. Snyder stepped away from the film in 2017 after the sudden and tragic death of a family member. After which famedAvengersdirector andBuffy The Vampire Slayercreator Joss Whedonwas hired to complete the film in time for its original release date. The 2017 version of the film was widely considered a disaster; a poorly stitched-together film from two completely different directors. Fans were mad about the version they got and were quick to petition Warner Bros to release a rumored “Snyder Cut” of the film, which gained a lot of traction online and support from the stars of the film.

The 2017 version was further subjected to controversy when last yearCyborg actor Ray Fisher accused Whedonof “gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable” behavior on the set ofJustice League. More recently, Whedon has also been accused of toxic and abusive behavior by ‘Buffy’ actress Charisma Carpenter. Several other members of the ‘Buffy’ cast have come out in support of Carpenter and her claims.

Zack Snyder’sJustice Leaguewill be available on HBO Max on March 18th, 2021.
