Summary
A creative fan ofThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomhas made an incredibly detailed plushie in the likeness of the game’s famous Light Dragon. Withdragons being a staple in theZeldafranchise, and once again making appearances inTears of the Kingdom, it seems only right that fans be inspired to produce original real-life items that resemble the titles' legendary beasts.
Even though the development team behind the action RPG recently announced thatno DLC was planned forTears of the Kingdom, that hasn’t stopped the fan base from continuing to play the game. Five months after theBreath of the Wildsequel’s release, plenty of players are still enjoying different aspects of the game. Some choose to continue or finish the main storyline, while others are satisfied with crafting unique contraptions with the building feature. Others take inspiration from creatures found inTears of the Kingdom, with this particular fan focusing on making a beautiful plush toy based on one of the four dragons in the title.

On Reddit, user Crispi_Croissant, a self-proclaimed plush artist, posted a photo of theTears of the KingdomLight Dragonstuffed toy that they created. According to the artist, the furry figure is 51 inches long, emulating the Light Dragon’s long body. It is also made out of minky and faux fur, explaining the different textures seen between the toy’s white body and yellow mane, which extends down to its tail. The crafter also included little details such as the creature’s blue horns and spikes as well as its iconic wide eyes that manyTears of the Kingdomplayers probably know the relevance of.
FellowTears of the Kingdomfans are probably happy with Crispi_Croissant’s creation, especially since the Light Dragon plays such an important role in the action RPG. Seeing such a well-made plushie of the dragon likely excited the franchise’s community, which shows in the positive comments on the Reddit thread. Some even expressed their interest in purchasing the toy, but the artist has unfortunately already sold the single one they made. Others made jokes about the connection between Link and the Light Dragon, which were fortunately put under spoiler notices for those who haven’t reached that part of the game.
According to their profile, Crispi_Croissant has quite the experience in making video game character plush toys. Aside fromLink fromThe Legend of Zelda, they have also crafted characters fromFinal Fantasy,Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, andAnimal Crossing. Hopefully, they share more of their creations with the gaming community in the future.
